Andrae Dunwoody - Master Dance Instructor

Andrae began his training at the School of the Arts high school, in Rochester NY. Was a member of the Borinquen Dance Theatre, A B.F.A Dance scholarship student at Marymount Manhattan College, where he had the privilege of working with Geoffrey Holder in the restaging of his 1976 Ballet, Danse Creole. Andrae was also a scholarship student at the Ballet Hispanico School in New York.

Andrae has taught & choreographed for Peekskill City Parks and Recreation,Theodore D. Young Community Center, and The Washington Heights Art Show. Choreographer for Roosevelt Island Theater production of Once On This Island, a guest judge for On Stage America regional dance competitions, in Long Island New York, dance captain for recording artist Talisha in New York City, and has choreographed and performed at St. John Fisher College.

Andrae is currently working with the Borinquen Dance Theatre and BDT dance outreach. A annual guest artist and choreographer for the Washington Heights Art Show (N.Y.C), Paisley Academy of Performing Arts (Marietta GA) and is the Artistic Director of dance at Rochester Area Performing Arts (R.A.P.A) where he teaches weekly ballet, jazz, tap and hip hop classes to children, teens and adults, and also has dance ensemble and outreach Dunwoody Dance.
